Middle-aged woman stabbed in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the stabbing of a woman in the Marino area of the city last night.

The woman, who was in her 50s, was stabbed five times in the stomach by a lone attacker as she walked her dog at around 10pm.

Gardaí said they have yet to find a motive for the attack.
