SF and Trimble clash over statement

Sinn Fein and David Trimble clashed today after the Ulster Unionist leader said the IRA’s statement fell “a long way” short of what was needed to restore devolution.

“I am not going to go into detail,” the Upper Bann MP said, confirming he had seen the confidential statement.
