Adams hits out at call for clarification of IRA statement

Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams tonight hit out at the British and Irish governments' call for clarification of a confidential IRA statement on the organisation’s future.

With London, Dublin and Washington stepping up pressure on the Provisionals to empty their arms dumps, the West Belfast MP insisted the statement was “clear and unambiguous”.
