A man is in a life-threatening condition at Dublin's St James' Hospital following a vicious assault in the city in the early hours of this morning.

A man is in a life-threatening condition at Dublin's St James' Hospital following a vicious assault in the city in the early hours of this morning.

The assault happened between 1.30am and 2.30am in the vicinity of Grafton St and Lemon St.
