Anti-war demonstration planned for Shannon

Another demonstration is planned for Shannon Airport tomorrow, as anti-war protestors keep up the pressure on the Government over policy on Iraq.

Activists from the Peace and Neutrality Alliance, The Irish Anti-War Movement and the NGO Peace Alliance are to gather in the town centre from 2pm.

They are concerned the conquest of Saddam Hussein's regime is the first of a series of US-led assaults on the world's so-called "rogue states".
