Trimble welcomes Bush's warning to republicans

The leader of the Ulster Unionist Party, David Trimble, has welcomed President Bush's demand for an end to paramilitary activity in the North.

He was speaking as the Northern parties prepared for the two governments' blueprint document on breaking the deadlock in the peace process.
