The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, US President George W Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair have issued a joint statement saying that paramilitarism in the North must be consigned to the past.

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, US President George W Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair have issued a joint statement saying that paramilitarism in the North must be consigned to the past.

The three leaders also urged the pro-agreement parties in the North to accept an Irish/British document outlining the actions the two governments believe are necessary to restore the suspended Assembly and Executive.
