USI launches campaign against excessive drinking

The Union of Students in Ireland (USI) has launched a poster campaign highlighting the risks associated with excessive drinking.

The campaign will focus on 50 colleges throughout Ireland, but will also target off-licences and pubs popular with young people.

The initiative is a joint venture between the USI and Mature Enjoyment of Alcohol in Society (MEAS), a group established by the alcohol industry.
