Revenue customs uncover diesel plant in Louth
A diesel laundering plant has been discovered in Co Louth.
Officers from the Revenue Customs Service found the operation at Ballybinaby.
Thirty thousand litres of washed diesel was seized along with an oil tanker, a forklift truck and other equipment.
The plant had the capacity to produce 20,000 litres of fuel per day.
It could have led to a loss to Revenue of millions of euro.
Two men found on the site are being questioned by customs officers.
