One in Four welcomes McCreevy's FoI u-turn

A group which represents victims of child sex abuse has welcomed the Government's decision to scrap one of its proposed amendments to the Freedom of Information Act.

Finance Minister Charlie McCreevy has agreed to drop his plans to restrict the public's access to personal records held by the Government.
