The Taoiseach is rejecting recent reports that United States military aircraft have used Baldonnel airport in Dublin for the military campaign in Iraq.

The Taoiseach is rejecting recent reports that United States military aircraft have used Baldonnel airport in Dublin for the military campaign in Iraq.

Responding to questions from Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny, the Taoiseach said Baldonnel has not been used by the US military for months.

Mr Ahern said: "Just to re-emphasise there have been no requests and no landings in any form since the autumn."
