Children walk out in school buildings protest

Thousands of children walked out of school today in protest at Government funding of school buildings and facilities.

Around 700 primary schools took part in the demonstration planned by parents’ and teachers’ organisation TLC to protest at what it said was the deplorable condition of many school buildings and overcrowding of classes.
