Kelly: SF will not join PSNI

Sinn Fein's policing spokesman, Gerry Kelly, has confirmed the party will not be joining the Policing Board in the North unless there are further changes to implement the Patten Commission.

Despite appeals from the Irish and British Governments and the SDLP, Mr Kelly said the time had not yet arrived but he conceded republicans were already nervous about the huge decisions ahead should that day come.
