Thousands expected at anti-war rallies
Thousands of Irish people will take to the streets later today in protest at the continuing war by the US and Britain on Iraq.
A series of marches and rallies are being held in several towns and cities across the country.
The rallies are being organised by several anti-war groups, including the Peace and Neutrality Alliance (PANA).
Trade unionists are also actively preparing for the marches. The Irish Congress of Trade Unions are backing today's protests.
