Gardai name Tipperary road crash victim
Gardai in Tipperary have named the pedestrian who died in a road accident at Clonmel overnight.
He was 64-year-old Timothy O'Donnell from Heywood Close in Clonmel.
The Minister for Transport Seamus Brennan has urged all motorists taking to the roads this St Patrick's Bank Holiday weekend to drive safely.
Eight people died on Irish roads during last year's St Patrick's weekend.
