Cardinal announces plan for victim support

Cardinal Desmond Connell has announced plans to establish a support network for the victims of clerical child sex abuse in the Dublin diocese.

The decision to set up the network was taken following recent meetings with two victims of abuse, Ken Reilly and Marie Collins.

Cardinal Connell said the service will be designed from the perspective of the victims.
