Solicitors threatened by NI police - report

The North's Police Ombudsman, Nuala O'Loan, has expressed her concern at the number of solicitors being threatened by police officers.

The North's Police Ombudsman, Nuala O'Loan, has expressed her concern at the number of solicitors being threatened by police officers.

A report published this morning says 55 of the North's 1,500 solicitors have complained about police intimidation.

"I think it's enormously important that solicitors can carry out their professional work without any fear," Ms O'Loan said.
