The Central Statistics Office has reported a 0.3% rise in the annual inflation rate during the month of February.

The Central Statistics Office has reported a 0.3% rise in the annual inflation rate during the month of February.

Figures released by the CSO today showed that prices rose by 5.1% between February 2002 and last month, compared to 4.8% for the year to the end of January. This leaves the official inflation rate at its highest level since June 2001.
