The chairman of the Morris Tribunal has appealed to legal teams at the inquiry not to let the proceedings drag on unnecessarily.

Superintendent Tom Long, who took the stand last Monday, is still being cross-examined today, even though his evidence was scheduled to last no more than a few hours.

Superintendent Long has been cross-examined by all parties to the tribunal, but this morning, some of those parties were allowed to come back with further questions.
