Records documenting the Irish struggle for independence between 1913 and 1921 are due to be released later this evening.

The voice recordings, photographs and documents, which relate to the IRA, Cumann na mBan, the Royal Irish Constabulary, the Irish Republican Brotherhood and the Irish Volunteers, were gathered by the Bureau of Military History between 1947 and 1957 and have been held under embargo ever since.
