Taoiseach Bertie Ahern will officially open the €62m National Aquatic Centre at Abbotstown in west Dublin later this morning.

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern will officially open the €62m National Aquatic Centre at Abbotstown in west Dublin later this morning.

The building, which was originally part of Mr Ahern's ill-fated Campus Ireland plans, contains a €50m swimming pool and the largest water park in Europe.
