Gardai make five more arrests in Limerick

Five men are still in custody this afternoon in connection with the investigation into the murder of Ciaran Kean in Limerick last January.

Two of those were detained in Limerick last night and are believed to be members of one of the main feuding families in the city.

The other three men are still being held at Naas Garda Station in connection with the murder of Ciaran Ryan in January.

Nine people in total were arrested over the past few days in connection with the investigation, four of those arrested in Tipperary on Thursday have since been released.
