Irishman facing extradition from Spain to Britain

Police in Spain have arrested a 58-year-old Irishman on foot of extradition request from the British authorities.

Dubliner Daniel Redmond, who is wanted for questioning in connection with alleged drug smuggling and money laundering in north-east England, was arrested yesterday in the resort town of Fuengirola.
