Parents urged to use MMR vaccine

The National Disease Surveillance Centre has urged parents to utilise the controversial MMR vaccine in an effort to offset a measles outbreak.

258 cases of the infection have been reported to the centre so far this year, 80% of them in the eastern and midlands regions.
