Morris Tribunal to begin hearing witness testimony

The tribunal set up to investigate allegations of garda corruption in Donegal will begin hearing evidence from its first witnesses later today.

The tribunal set up to investigate allegations of garda corruption in Donegal will begin hearing evidence from its first witnesses later today.

The first module of the Morris Tribunal will deal with hoax explosives finds allegedly staged by certain gardai in 1993 and 1994.

Sheena McMahon, the ex-wife of Garda Noel McMahon, and former garda informant Adrienne McGlinchey are expected to be among the first to testify before the tribunal.
