Gardaí have warned people to be on the lookout for bogus charity collectors in the Dublin area.

Two con-artists have used a bogus charity name to dupe people into giving them money.

The two individuals have been calling door-to-door in the Artane area of Dublin collecting money for "The Homeless Association".

The pair have even produced a false Northern Area Health Board identification. The Health board is warning they operate no collections of this kind, and say people approached by these individuals should notify the gardaí.
