Pedestrian killed in Navan road accident

A pedestrian in his early 30s has died after being struck by a car outside Navan in Co Meath this morning.

The accident happened at around 7am at Ardsallagh.

The dead man is believed to be from the Navan area, but gardai are withholding his name until all next of kin are informed.
