Govt urged to reveal extent of abuse claims

Green Party TD Paul Gogarty has called on the Government to reveal the extent of its knowledge about the level of abuse which took place in State-owned residential institutions.

Labour Party leader Pat Rabbitte has also reiterated his view that the agreement reached with the religious orders regarding the compensation pay-outs was bad for the taxpayer.
