Gardaí launch murder hunt in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a woman's body in a flat near the Royal Canal Bank in Phibsboro earlier today.

The 25-year-old Jamaican mother-of-two was found dead at around 2.15pm.

A post mortem will be carried out later today.

Meanwhile, gardaí in Tallaght are still investigating the death of a man in his 20s this afternoon.

The man's body was found in suspicious circumstances on open ground in the Killinarden area.
