Kenny vows to bring politics back to the people

The Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has said that politics is changing in Ireland and has predicted a return to power for his party.

Speaking at a party conference last night Deputy Kenny claimed that Fine Gael had regained it’s fighting power and that they would bring politics back to the people.

He said: "Fine Gael are going to campaign hard on a whole range of issues in towns and villages throughout the country.

"Whether it be on issues related to alcohol and crime and law and order, or issues of health, or agriculture, or tourism, or whatever.

"People actually want to see Fine Gael out there"
