Gardai continue double shooting investigation

The scene remains sealed off in Cork where the bodies of a young couple where found shot dead.

A 19-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man were found by the girl's father in a rented house in Bishopstown shortly before 9pm last night.

Both had head wounds and a gun was found nearby.

The victims were from the Fermoy area of North Cork and were students at the Cork institute of technology.

Gardai say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the shooting.
