Diplomat may face prosecution in Finucane case

A British diplomat at the centre of a major police investigation into the murder of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane may face prosecution, it was revealed today.

Metropolitan Commissioner John Stevens confirmed his inquiry team was preparing papers on Brigadier Gordon Kerr, the British Military Attaché in Beijing.
