Transport Minister Seamus Brennan and Iarnrod Eireann are treating train passengers in the West of Ireland like second class citizens, a Fine Gael Senator has claimed.

Senator Frank Feighan claims train services between Dublin and Sligo are irregular and inefficient. "Locomotives break down so often that passengers are surprised to reach their destination on time," he said.
