USI 'assured' fees won't be introduced

Students representatives have said they have received assurances third level fees are unlikely to be re-introduced this year.

The Union of Students in Ireland, which have been campaigning against the move, says the proposal has been postponed due to delays in the timetable for a review of the entire college support structure.
