Ahern launches broadband plans for 19 towns and cities

Communications Minister Dermot Ahern has officially launched plans to introduce broadband Internet access to 19 towns and cities throughout Ireland over the coming two years.

The €65m plan to introduce high-speed Internet access is jointly funded by the Government and the European Union.
