Gardai call for mother to come forward

Gardai are calling on the mother of the baby whose body was found yesterday in a dump in North Dublin to come forward.

They are also appealing to the public for any relevant information which may help them locate the mother.

Earlier, a post mortem on the body concluded that the baby had been born alive.

Gardai say that they are now concentrating their investigations in the Coolock area.
