Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen, has said it is unlikely that he will intervene in the trial of the three Irishmen accused of training FARC rebels in Colombia.

The comments follow a call by Fianna Fail Senator, Mary White, who is observing the trial in Bogota.
