Raiders escape with cash from Dublin bank

Gardai in Dublin are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at the AIB in Ranelagh at 11.30am today.

Two men entered the bank, both carrying handguns, threatened staff and demanding cash. They got away with a small quantity of cash.

Both culprits were wearing balaclavas. It is not clear what mode of transport they used, if any, to leave the scene.

No shots were fired and nobody was injured.
