Gardai in Limerick have begun questioning the two men who were allegedly abducted at gunpoint in the Ballynanty area last week.

Twenty-year-old Eddie Ryan and his 19-year-old brother, Kieran, disappeared last Thursday night and weren't seen until they reappeared safe and well in Portlaoise yesterday morning.

The pair were reunited with their mother yesterday, but did not reveal where they had been for the previous six days.

They both presented themselves to gardai in Limerick at 11am today and are now being questioned about their alleged abduction.
