Woman rescued after Liffey plunge

A woman alive from the River Liffey near the Ha'penny Bridge in Dublin city centre this evening.

Dublin fire brigade rushed to the scene after a passer-by spotted the stricken woman.

She has been brought to the Mater hospital, where she is said to be suffering from shock.
