Brennan to appoint taxi regulator next month

Transport Minister Seamus Brennan has pledged to appoint a regulator for the taxi industry by the end of next month.

The regulator will be appointed on an acting basis only, but Mr Brennan said a full-time regulator will be appointed on a statutory basis by this summer.
