Gardai appeal for accident witnesses

Gardai in Dublin are investigating a fatal traffic accident, which resulted in the death of a 78-year-old pedestrian.

The accident happened at Hudson Road, Glasthule in Dalkey last Monday.

The gardai would like to speak to two men who rendered assistance to the injured man at the scene of the accident.

One carried out first aid and the other called to a local shop and requested they contact the ambulance service.
