A man in his 30s was today being questioned over the death of a man in Dublin city centre last week

A man in his 30s was today being questioned over the death of a man in Dublin city centre last week.

Michael O’Brien, 53, was found dead in an apartment block in Pearse St at about 9.30pm on Friday.

Gardai said it appeared an argument had taken place at the flats.

Last night Garda sources arrested a man and were holding him at Pearse St garda station.
