Child porn charge case adjourned

A District Court judge today declared that an alleged case of possessing child pornography was too serious to be tried in his court.

Judge Humphrey Kelleher declined jurisdiction in his court at Killarney, Co Kerry, in the case of a 31-year-old man whose address was among more than 100 raided by gardai in a nationwide move against child pornography activities codenamed Operation Amethyst last May.
