Dunlop resumes evidence at Flood Tribunal

Former government press secretary Frank Dunlop has resumed his evidence at the Flood Tribunal.

Most of his testimony so far today dealt with the rezoning of land at Carrickmines in Co Dublin in the 1990s.

The tribunal has again been reminded that Jim Kennedy, an amusement arcade owner, gave Mr Dunlop £25,000 to disperse among certain councillors.

Shortly before lunchtime Council for the tribunal began to question Mr Dunlop over his relationship with former Fine Gael TD Liam Cosgrave.

The tribunal was told that Mr Cosgrave signed numerous rezoning motions to alter the status of certain lands at Carrickmines in Co Dublin.
