The Irish Traveller Movement is raising concerns over plans by the Minister for Justice to change the way the courts deal with equality cases.

At the moment the Equality tribunal hears these cases, over 50% of which are taken against publicans who refuse entry to travellers. The Minister for Justice's plan to let the District court deal with these hearings instead has been slammed as unworkable.
