Spire monument due for completion today

Construction of the Spire of Dublin monument in the centre of O'Connell Street is expected to be completed late this evening or tomorrow morning.

Construction of the Spire of Dublin monument in the centre of O'Connell Street is expected to be completed late this evening or tomorrow morning.

Half of the 120-metre structure is now in place and engineers said they hope to erect the remaining three sections later today.
