A memorial was unveiled in Belfast this afternoon in honour of 20-year-old Danny McColgan, last year's first victim of loyalist violence.

The plaque was unveiled at his home in Belfast.

He was shot dead on his way to work as a postman a year ago today.

Hundreds of people attended a mass in his memory in the area this morning.

One of Belfast's largest ever demonstrations against violence was organised last year by Northern trade unions after his murder.
