Post mortem results due on Cork body
A post mortem examination is due to be carried out this afternoon on the body of a woman found in suspicious circumstances in Cork city.
The State Pathologist has arrived in Cork and is expected to begin work in the next couple of hours.
The 33-year-old's body was found in the hallway of a house at Roches Buildings, off Richmond Hill, early this morning.
The woman has been named locally as Jean Scanlon.
It is believed she suffered head and neck injuries following a suspected fall.
The woman had been living in the house with her partner since November. She is originally from Dublin, but had been living in Cork for a number of years.
