Two arrested in connection with Belfast murder
Two people are in custody this morning over the murder of a young man in Belfast.
Police in Northern Ireland are questioning the two men about the murder of 25-year-old David Cupples earlier this week.
Mr Cupples died on Christmas Eve from injuries received during a brutal assault on December 22.
In a separate development a 23-year-old man is due to appear in Lurgan Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with attempted murder and membership of the LVF.
He also faces charges of possession of firearms and ammunition.
It has been a week of violence in the North and security forces remain on alert in Belfast where 22-year-old Jonathon Stewart was murdered in the kitchen of a house in the North of the city.
Possible links between his death and the on-going loyalist paramilitary feud are being investigated.
